BIO:

Formerly known as Emissary, Sunil has been involved with music in some shape or form since his childhood. As a toddler, he played on laundry baskets, pots and pans just to recreate the drum-sets he saw on TV. He started taking up several instruments during his elementary school years, such as violin and various western drums, along with the South Indian drum known as the mridangam.

Through his experiences growing up, he developed an intuitive sense of music that has stayed with him ever since. While he was in high school, he became interested in producing his own music, and started working on remixes as a hobby; garnering thousands of views on YouTube. He now has over 300,000 views lifetime. For him, music was his way to vent out the stresses of the world around him, and it turned into a passion he could have only dreamed of.

Since then, Sunil has been perfecting his craft and finding his sound, and hopes to change the music industry with his work and help the lives of others.

AWARDS:

• Winner - Is Pal Mein Remix Contest hosted by Penn Masala. The remix was set up as a "pay what you want" song to download, with all proceeds going to charity.
• Winner - BeatStars RA the Rugged Man Remix Contest, with his remix entry being hand picked by RA the Rugged Man himself
• Winner - Producer Genius (of Genius.com, formerly Rap Genius) Round 6 Beat Battle, entry picked by set of judges. Based on most creative interpretation of designated music sample.
